OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a Dosimetry Assistant to support radiotherapy treatment planning and dosimetry tasks under supervision. The role involves developing routine plans from CT/MRI/PET data, assisting in IMRT planning, blocking/molding duties, and participating in departmental workflow and billing processes.

Ideal candidates will have completed a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program with at least 12 months radiotherapy experience and strong mathematical skills for

Qualifications

• Graduate from a JRCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to interpret medical terminology and communicate with medical staff.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine dosimetry tasks and 2D MU calculations.
• Create and modify treatment plans from CT/MRI/PET images.
• Support plan creation for IMRT planning and contour delineation.
• Assist with block/mold room duties and billing for patients.
• Transfer plans between units and update documentation as needed.
