UCI Health in California seeks a Radiation Therapy Dosimetrist to generate and administer treatment plans and dose calculations in collaboration with radiation oncologists and medical physicists. You will document use of radioactive materials and assist in training students and residents in therapy administration and protocols.

The role requires ARRT/CRT or Physics BS, ARIA proficiency, and the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends, within a large academic health system.

Formación

• One year of training in dosimetry or an equivalent education/experience.
• Must possess ARRT and CRT for radiation therapy technology or BS in Physics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Generates and administers radiation therapy treatment plans and dose calculations in consultation with radiation oncologists and medical physicists.
• Accurately documents use of radioactive materials.
• Assists in teaching and training students, residents, physicians, in radiation therapy administration and protocols.
