Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Dosimetrist I to perform external beam and HDR planning, using Mosaiq and other planning tools. You will collaborate with physicians, physics, and therapy staff to ensure dosimetrically sound treatment plans and efficient delivery.

The role requires graduation from a Medical Dosimetry program or equivalent, board-eligibility, and strong communication skills. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, with potential relocation or sign-on options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Dosimetry program or equivalent.
• Board eligible in Dosimetry per MDCB standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
• May lift up to 40 lbs as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform external beam radiation therapy planning and dose calculations.
• Perform HDR planning and dose calculations.
• Use Mosaiq EMR and other software to deliver plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, physics, therapists for dosimetric quality.
• Create radiation plans following physician directives and present dosimetry results.
• Assist in simulation with care team as requested.
• Charge capture and reconciliation in EMR.
