Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Dosimetrist I to perform external beam and HDR planning, ensuring dose accuracy and treatment efficiency. You will work with physicians, physicists and therapists to translate clinical goals into dosimetric plans using Raystation and Mosaiq EMR.

The role requires a Medical Dosimetry degree or a board-eligible Radiation Therapist, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Dosimetry school or certified Radiation Therapist
• Board eligible in Dosimetry per MDCB
• Excellent communication skills required
• May be asked to lift up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform external beam radiation therapy planning and dose calculations
• Conduct HDR planning and dose calculations
• Utilize Mosaiq EMR and related software
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, physics and therapy staff for accurate plans
• Follow physician directives to create and present dosimetry plans
• Assist in Simulation with Therapists/Physicians/Physicists
• Perform charge capture and reconcile documentation in EMR
