Brown University Health seeks a radiotherapy dosimetrist to manage treatment planning for conventional radiotherapy, IMRT, and brachytherapy. You will interact with physicians to execute directives and document results, participate in simulations, and assist the physicist with chart checks and QA tasks.

You should have a dosimetry-focused background, experience with CT-based planning, and familiarity with radiation safety procedures.

Qualifications

• AS degree in health/physical sciences or equivalent; BA preferred.
• CMD certification is a plus and eligibility for board certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Contours patient, obtains separations, evaluates CT images and verifies data for simulator coverage.
• Performs dose calculations and provides isodose distributions.
• Works with physicians to optimize IMRT treatment plans.
• Assists in brachytherapy dose calculations and radiation safety tasks.
• Completes documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
