Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Youth Dorm Supervisor to support Job Corps housing operations. You will supervise students, help them adjust to campus life, and ensure daily routines, hygiene, and safety are maintained.

The role includes counseling support and documenting student information while coordinating with staff and families. Responsibilities include enforcing schedules, conducting roll calls, and maintaining orderly dormitories, with a focus on respectful, safe living

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Experience working with youth is important.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in adjusting to Center life with supervision and mentoring.
• Ensure students meet schedule and arrive on time for training or work assignments.
• Maintain dorm cleanliness and inspect readiness; monitor personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Provide informal counseling on stress management and behavior; document student records.
• Conduct daily roll calls and accountability checks; ensure safety and security measures.
• Communicate clearly with staff, students, and families and support center operations.
