Job summary

Building Ventures in Morrisville, NC seeks a hands-on carpenter to install commercial doors, frames and hardware on multiple job sites. You will read plans, cut and fit metal frames, and perform basic welding while protecting finished surfaces.

This full-time role requires lifting heavy doors, driving between sites, and maintaining tools. OSHA-10 or safety training is preferred; high school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license needed.

About This RoleHands-on Carpenter needed in Morrisville, NC to install commercial doors, frames and hardware. This is a full-time role (40 hrs/week) focused on quality workmanship across multiple job sites. You'll hang prefinished doors, install locks and hinges, perform basic welding and frame prep, and protect finished surfaces. You'll work from shop and on-site, create daily Pre-Task Plans, read plans and manufacturer literature, and manage workflow to meet project schedules.
