Job summary

The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is seeking a friendly Doorperson to greet guests, assist with luggage, and help during arrivals and departures. You’ll contribute to a seamless lobby experience and deliver the warm hospitality the brand is known for.

In this role, you will manage traffic at the entrance, read luggage tags, arrange taxis, and ensure item handling is accurate and courteous. The position is on-site and part-time, with benefits available to eligible Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing guests, manage traffic flow at the lobby entrance, and assist with luggage
• Tag and track guest belongings, read luggage tags, issue claim tickets, and ensure proper handling and delivery of items
• Handle guest items with care: retrieve, transport, store, and organize luggage, packages, and boxes from vehicles and storage areas
• Coordinate transportation needs by arranging taxis or other guest transport on request
• Maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude with guests and resolve inquiries in a timely, friendly manner

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day
