Job summary

Negwer Materials Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Negwer Door Systems to lead complex door, frame and hardware projects from proposal to customer acceptance.

You will direct project teams through planning, estimating, design, delivery, turnover and warranty, coordinating material quotes, submittals, and scheduling with site contacts, while maintaining strong contractor relationships and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience in frame, door and hardware project management, or related field.
• Some college education preferred
• Ability to read blueprints
• Comfortable with learning and using new technologies
• Minimum 3 years of division 08 experience required

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction documents to determine required material and checks accuracy and compatibility
• Provides quotes for doors, frames, and hardware to contractors and customers
• Creates submittals for doors, frames, and hardware and forwards for review
• Sets up materials for each customer order in ordering system and manages delivery dates
• Coordinates delivery of materials with site contacts according to project schedule
• Maintains external relationships by following up with contractors for timely arrival of material
• Troubleshoots errors such as installation issues or changes in construction plans
• Provides input for process improvements regarding quoting, detailing, and managing projects
• Interacts with Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, and other departments
• Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travel
• Performs other necessary functions as assigned
