Job summary

Rosedale is seeking door staff to be the first point of contact for guests. You will provide exceptional, friendly service with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude as part of an awesome team.

Positions are available part-time and full-time. You will work in a lively, hospitality-driven environment with opportunities for bonuses, team events, and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Greet guests in a friendly way and check IDs.
• Maintain lines and crowd control.
• Enforce rules to keep location fun and safe.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, check IDs, and manage entry.
• Assist in private parties as needed, including setup and teardown.
• Clean and remove trash throughout bar, including patios and restrooms.
• Assist guests with belongings to their cars.

Rosedale is now hiring Door Staff. The Door Staff is the first point of contact our guests encounter when entering our establishment. We expect exceptional, friendly service, along with a strong work ethic. Work with us to make great money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team!

Rosedale, also known as Over-the-Rhine's backyard, includes a patio that features two premium bocce ball courts with courtside seating and a number of outdoor games. In the cooler months, crackling firepits provide warmth for guests seeking to retreat to the outdoors. A standing special menu is available and rotates monthly with a selection of beers, shots, and cocktails.

• Well-spoken individual with ability to effectively interact with guests and staff


• Work well under pressure


• Ability to stand for long periods of time


• Be a good teammate


• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable


• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state


• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates


• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
