aliveOne Chicago is hiring Door Staff to be the first point of contact for guests. You will greet patrons, check IDs, and help maintain a safe, enjoyable environment in a lively bar setting.

We offer early opportunities to earn competitive wages starting at $18/hr, with the potential for both part-time and full-time hours. The team emphasizes teamwork, positive energy, and strong guest service in a fast-paced hospitality venue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Ability to enforce rules and maintain safety.
• Capable of standing for long periods and working varied hours.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and check IDs at entry.
• Maintain lines and crowd control.
• Enforce rules to keep the location fun and safe.
• Assist in private parties and help guests with belongings to their cars.
• Clean and remove trash throughout bar, including patios and restrooms.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state


• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates


• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
