Job summary

OrePac Building Products is seeking a Door Service Technician to install, service, and repair interior and exterior doors for residential or commercial customers. The role requires heavy lifting and frequent use of power tools, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The position follows a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential Saturday work as needed. Candidates should have 5+ years in construction or related service roles and strong English

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of construction/contractor experience or experience in a related service technician role.
• Experience with door assembly and installation.
• Strong customer-service skills and face-to-face interactions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Comfort with reading and following safety regulations in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair interior and exterior doors at residential/commercial sites.
• Drive to scheduled service appointments and manage appointment changes.
• Analyze service tickets to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to address first-time quality concerns.
• Train dealers on installation and service as required.
