Job summary

A local service provider in California is seeking an experienced Service Technician for the servicing and installation of commercial doors and docks. Ideal candidates will hold a valid driver's license and have a strong work ethic along with the ability to work independently or in teams. The role offers a pay rate of $22.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience, with occasional overtime for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experienced Service Technicians should possess the following qualities.
• Ability to carry out basic measurements and calculations as needed.
• Experience in working with Metal, Welding, Electrical and General Construction is preferred.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Servicing and Installation of Commercial Doors (Hollow Metal, Glass Aluminum, Overhead, Automatic)

Servicing and Installation of Docks (Levelers, Bumpers, Etc.)

Servicing and Installation of Commercial Locks and Door Hardware and Frames

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50lbs+ may be required in some instances

Ability to climb and stand on ladders, sometimes for extended periods of time is required

Experience in working with Metal, Welding, Electrical and General Construction is *preferred

Frequent walking, standing, bending may be required

Frequent lifting of materials, tools, etc will be required

Ability to work with hands for extended periods of time will be required

Work Schedule:

Regular Business Hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday with *occasional overtime required for emergency service.

Pay Rate:

$22.00 - $40.00 per Hour (Depending on Experience)
