Job summary

Atlas Door Repair in New Jersey is seeking a reliable Door Repair Field Service Technician to service and install commercial doors and hardware. You will perform on-site repairs, install closers, cylinders, thresholds and panic bars, and provide professional service to customers.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot customer needs, and a valid driver's license. Travel is typical to sites within the local area; AAADM certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Door Repair experience.
• Must possess Clean Valid Driver License.
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• AAADM Certification a Plus (not required).

Responsibilities

Door Repair Field Service Technician

Reports to:

The Field Service technician will report to the Technician Manager.

Job Overviews:

Atlas Door Repair if looking to hire a Commercial Door Technician who is mechanically inclined with experience in the construction business and can help in the service and installation of commercial doors and door hardware.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door hardware including closers, cylinders, threshold, panic bars (rim, vertical rods & concealed) you will recommend improvements to the customers and quotes on wearable parts, recommend upgrades to improve product functionality. Provide all service with the highest level of professionalism. Also maintain truck inventory and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• · Minimum of 1 year Door Repair experience and basic knowledge of tools
• · Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must possess Clean Valid Driver License
• · Enjoy mental challenge of being able to trouble shoot to solve customer needs
