Job summary

Atlas Door Repair is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and repair commercial door hardware, including closers, cylinders, thresholds, and panic bars. The role requires mechanical aptitude, experience in construction, and the ability to service and install doors and door hardware on-site.

The technician will report to the Technician Manager and join a team focused on professionalism, inventory upkeep, and high-quality customer service. AAADM certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Door Repair experience and basic knowledge of tools.
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must possess Clean Valid Driver License.
• Enjoy mental challenge of troubleshooting to solve customer needs.
• AAADM Certification a Plus (but not required)

The Field Service technician will report to the Technician Manager.

Job Overviews

Atlas Door Repair if looking to hire a Commercial Door Technician who is mechanically inclined with experience in the construction business and can help in the service and installation of commercial doors and door hardware.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door hardware including closers, cylinders, threshold, panic bars (rim, vertical rods & concealed) you will recommend improvements to the customers and quotes on wearable parts, recommend upgrades to improve product functionality. Provide all service with the highest level of professionalism. Also maintain truck inventory and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Door Repair experience and basic knowledge of tools


• Able to lift 75 lbs.


• Must possess Clean Valid Driver License


• Enjoy mental challenge of being able to trouble shoot to solve customer needs


• AAADM Certification a Plus (but not required)
