Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop seeks a customer service specialist to handle quotes, orders, and inquiries for architectural glass and building products. You will read and interpret drawings, provide timely pricing, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have front-line customer experience, proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word), and the ability to learn estimating software. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, multi-tasking, and teamwork at our Indiana facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in a position that deals directly with customers (front-line).
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience in the building materials or glass industry is helpful.
• Strong math skills, including fractions and decimals as units of measure.
• Organized, self-starter who can multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn computer software estimating programs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests from customers for price quotations, product availability, orders, and information.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
• Understand the glass and hardware product lines.
• Read drawings showing measurements of custom glass orders.
• Generate pricing quotes in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
• Sustain a working technical knowledge of all available products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
