Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware in Dallas is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. You will perform take-offs, review drawings and specs, and prepare precise proposals for door and hardware packages across commercial projects.

Responsibilities include inputting data into Comsense, communicating with customers, vendors, and architects, and following up bids to ensure scope and price meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook & Bluebeam.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform take-offs, identify drawings and details, and review specifications.
• Identify door and hardware products that meet project requirements and provide competitive value.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and architects to ensure best solutions.
• Input door, frame, and hardware data into estimating software (Comsense).
• Provide clear proposals and follow-up on bids to ensure customer satisfaction.
