Job summary

Himmel’s Architectural Door & Hardware LLC in Mt. Juliet, TN is seeking an Estimator to join the Estimating Department. The role entails take-offs, reviewing drawings and specifications, and proposing optimal door and hardware solutions for projects.

The position is Monday–Thursday 7am–4:30pm and Friday 7am–3:30pm with occasional overtime. Requires experience in construction estimating and proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, and estimating software (Comsense/Pro-tech).

Qualifications

• Experience reading plans & specifications is preferred.
• Experience using estimating software (Comsense or Pro-tech).
• Familiar with construction industry and estimating processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform take-offs, identify drawings, review specifications.
• Identify doors and hardware products to meet project requirements.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and architects to propose best solutions.
• Input door, frame, and hardware data into estimating software.
• Provide clear, precise proposals to customers and follow up on bids.
