Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Americus, GA, is looking for a Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter. You will welcome donors, process donations with a handheld device, and assist customers while staying engaged and courteous.

Position offers part-time hours (20–25/wk) or full-time (32–40/wk) with shifts Sun–Sat. Requirements include HS/GED or better, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and prior retail/customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or better.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors with excellent customer service.
• Receive donated goods from donors and process items.
• Provide receipts and maintain donation records on a handheld device.
• Organize donations into bins for accurate processing.
• Keep work area neat and clean and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Work in other areas of the store as needed by leadership.
