Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Columbus, GA, is seeking a Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter for a part-time role. You will welcome donors, process donations with a handheld device, and assist customers while maintaining accurate donation records.

The position is part-time, averaging 20–25 hours weekly, with shifts Mon–Sun and open availability. Requirements include being at least 18, HS diploma or GED, basic math, and prior retail or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or customer service required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• 1 year of cash handling experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors quickly and provides excellent customer service.
• Receives donated goods from donors and unloads vehicles.
• Provides receipts to donors and records donations using a handheld device.
• Organizes donations into bins for accurate processing.
• Performs general housekeeping and keeps the area neat.
• Assists truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Works in all areas of the store as needed by leadership.
