Job summary

Earthjustice is seeking a Donor Engagement Specialist, Travel to collaborate with the Donor Marketing & Engagement Team. You will design customized travel experiences for principal and institutional funders, aligning program concepts with Earthjustice’s mission and impact.

The role requires a self-starter with mission-driven travel program experience, strong communication, budgeting, and vendor negotiation skills, plus willingness to travel for scoping trips and planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of work experience developing multi-day travel experiences for major and principal level funders in a non-profit environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience crafting budgets and negotiating vendor contracts preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to Earthjustice’s values of Justice, Excellence, Inclusion, and Partnership.

Responsibilities

• Co-design travel programs for principal and institutional funders, creating intake frameworks and success benchmarks.
• Oversee travel planning, partner with fundraisers, donor relations, and staff to develop guest recruitment strategies.
• Negotiate trip costs with outfitters and manage trip expenses within budget.
• Draft and oversee production of trip invitations and guest communications.
