Job summary

Loudoun Hunger Relief is seeking a Development Coordinator to work with the Chief Development Officer and fundraising team to cultivate and retain relationships with individual and institutional donors, volunteers and supporters. The role helps Loudoun Hunger Relief ensure resources to serve clients with nutritious food and community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of RE NXT a plus.
• Ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage mid-range donor retention, cultivation and communication.
• Plan and manage fundraising and stewardship events.
• Identify donors for upgrade to mid-range or estate giving.
• Identify mid-range donors who may move to major giving or estates.
• Plan donor interactions with appropriate LHR representative.
• Execute donor reactivation in collaboration with the Annual Fund team.
• Contribute to donor communications and donor group outreach.
• Nurture the sustainer donor program.
• Maintain donor database and records.
• Respond to donor inquiries and document support needs.
• Manage matching gift programs.
• Support grant tracking and reporting deadlines.
