Job summary

The National Park Foundation seeks a Coordinator, Campaign and Donor Engagement in Washington, DC. This full-time role focuses on donor acknowledgments, receipts, and communications, with additional duties in events, writing, and administrative support. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of philanthropy or donor relations experience.

Salary range is $62,000 to $68,000 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package. This role is based in Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Experience with data in relational databases and ability to manipulate data in Excel; familiarity with Raiser's Edge or Raiser's Edge NXT is preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail; ability to draft donor communications.
• Experience in a large-scale national fundraising program.
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently and in a team, and professional in demeanor.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; comfortable with SharePoint, Canva, and Asana.

Responsibilities

• Donor Stewardship: produce and track acknowledgments, receipts, and communications for donors; review data uploadsweekly; write personalized donor correspondences.
• Event Support: assist with event registrations, nametags, invitations, and related materials.
• Writing & Creative Support: assist with light writing and design projects; proofreading and ensuring consistency across projects.
• Administrative Support: manage scheduling, travel, inbox, donor records, data entry, reporting, and process improvements; coordinate donor gifts.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
