Job summary

Dallas Museum of Art invites a Manager of Stewardship to lead a comprehensive donor stewardship program. You will craft and standardize donor communications, including acknowledgments, letters, proposals, and case statements, aligning with the Museum's branding and fundraising priorities.

Working with the Development team, you will design integrated strategies for recognizing donors at all levels, producing timely, polished materials for internal and external stakeholders and supporting annual

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional writing or nonprofit experience is required with emphasis on donor relations, stewardship, and PR.
• Experience in a major development office and understanding of philanthropy is preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, results-oriented environment and ability to meet shifting demands is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Raiser's Edge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement donor acknowledgment and recognition procedures with Development team, ensuring consistency across audiences.
• Produce high-quality written materials for donor solicitation and stewardship, personalize for multiple voices while aligning with branding.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to craft donor communications highlighting Museum activities, vision, impact.
• Design, document, and manage a systematic stewardship program focused on donor communications.
• Produce solicitation materials such as donor letters, case statements, and proposals as needed.
• Oversee timely communications for all gift levels and gift types.
• Support drafting and editing of donor event remarks, emails, newsletters, invitations, and Member magazine content.
• Support donor recognition in Annual Report, endowment reports, Member magazine; ensure donor rolls accuracy.
