Job summary

Rainforest Action Network (RAN) is seeking a creative, collaborative Donor Services Assistant to support individual giving efforts and donor engagement. Based in San Francisco, with remote work possible, the role integrates with the fundraising team under the Senior Manager, Individuals and Events.

The position emphasizes donor services, engagement reporting, and coordinating donor opportunities, with a one-year term and a salary in the SF Bay Area nonprofit range.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Donor Services Support – Monitor and respond to requests via email, mail, phone, update donor records, track stewardship.
• Donor Engagement Support – assist in reporting engagement and writing donor appeals.
• Work with Membership Coordinator to support outreach to RAN members through newsletters, volunteer opportunities and events.
• Collaborate with the Individual Giving team to create and implement donor engagement strategies.
• Support Development Team in outreach efforts for individuals (thank-a-thon, event invitations).
• Assist with special projects to support individual giving efforts.
