Job summary

HonorBridge is seeking a Donor Services Approach Manager to lead the team responsible for tissue authorization and donor family engagement. This leadership role oversees DSACs, staff development, scheduling, and quality improvement to maximize donation opportunities in our mission-driven environment.

You will collaborate with clinical teams and leadership to strengthen processes, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional, family-centered care across a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in organ donation, tissue donation, healthcare, family services, call center operations, compassionate care or a related field.
• 2+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, and supporting frontline staff.
• Strong understanding of authorization practices, donor family communication, and compassionate care principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Donor Services Approach Coordinators in tissue donor referrals and authorization conversations with donor families.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and real-time guidance to ensure compassionate and effective family interactions.
• Develop strategies to improve authorization outcomes with a family-centered approach.
• Establish and maintain operational standards, workflows, and best practices across the DSAC team.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of DSAC staff.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to design and evaluate authorization training programs.
• Monitor onboarding progress and ensure developmental milestones are completed.
