Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, Inc. in Dunwoody, GA is seeking an experienced Donor Services Manager to lead blood collection operations for whole blood and apheresis. The role focuses on achieving annual goals with cost-effective strategies, staff leadership, donor care, and community engagement.

Requirements include prior phlebotomy experience and the potential CDL driving responsibilities. This is a full-time position with a starting salary range of $62,000–$68,200 per year, plus

Qualifications

• Prior phlebotomy experience is strongly preferred.
• CDL training and state CDL licensing is required or preferred.
• Successful supervision of staff and driving responsibilities may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Director and/or Regional Manager with oversight of blood collection and donor recruitment
• Monitor regional projections to meet or exceed collection goals
• Supervise staff including hiring, training, evaluating and disciplining
• Motivate and educate Donor Services staff and maintain team morale
• Plan and direct whole blood, apheresis and automated collection operations
• Review weekly recruitment goals and take corrective action if needed
• Represent LifeSouth and its mission to the community
• Drive bloodmobiles when necessary
• Complete and maintain CDL training program and licensing
