Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a Phlebotomist in Dunwoody, GA. You will perform blood collection from donors, register them in the IBBIS system, and determine eligibility, while delivering excellent customer service.

A varied schedule including nights and weekends is required, with CDL holders preferred for additional compensation. This is a full-time role with a starting pay range of $19.50–$21.45 per hour, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, health/dental/vision insurance,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet LifeSouth eligibility.
• Proficient with computer software applications.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• CDL holders preferred; additional compensation available.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomies and collect blood from donors per SOP.
• Register donors in the IBBIS donor system.
• Determine donor eligibility based on interview and physical.
• Provide high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist in recruitment, tele-recruitment and rescheduling of donors.
• Convert donors to automated technology (apheresis) when appropriate.
