Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA in Mandeville, LA is seeking a Donation Attendant. The role is full-time, position suitable for students in high school, offering front-line donor contact and donation processing responsibilities.

You will sort donations, maintain a safe and clean workspace, issue receipts, and help convey the organization's mission with courtesy and a positive attitude at all times.

Qualifications

• Must interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
• Must market Goodwill and explain the mission to the public.
• Must stand and walk for prolonged periods and bend/stretch as needed.
• Flexible schedule with short-notice days, nights, and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• To project a positive image of Goodwill to all donors.
• To sort donated materials as instructed.
• To maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and promote safe service.
• To accept donations from the public and issue receipts.
• To present a positive image of the Company through prompt, courteous service.
• To follow the safety policies of the Company.
