Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA in Walker, LA is seeking a Donation Attendant. This full-time, entry-level role supports donors by assisting with donations, issuing receipts, and presenting a positive image of the organization.

Responsibilities include sorting donated materials, maintaining a safe work area, and delivering courteous service. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; a HS diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior work experience in service industry preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• To project a positive image of Goodwill to all donors.
• To sort donated materials as instructed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and promote safe, courteous service to donors.
• Accept donations from the public and issue receipts.
• Present a positive image of the company through prompt, courteous service.
• Follow safety policies in the work area.
