Job summary

CSL Plasma in Dallas is seeking a front-line Donor Center Registrar to greet donors and complete registration to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis. You will assist with screening and basic health checks after initial training.

Post-training you may educate donors on therapeutic products, appointment systems, and center policies while maintaining accurate donor records and ensuring safety and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service related position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process and health history review.
• Perform health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on donor screening, health tests, appointment system, center policies and nutrition after training.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Answer phones or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for adverse reactions during/after pheresis and report to staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
