Job summary

CSL Plasma operates one of the world’s largest plasma donation networks, supporting lifesaving therapies. The role involves greeting donors, conducting privacy-compliant registration, and guiding them through screening and health checks.

You will document donor data, answer inquiries, and assist with donor education on procedures and policies. A friendly, precise communicator with basic math skills is welcome to join a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history, medical questions, and basic health screening tests (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma, appointment system, center policies, and nutrition.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed; answer phone and direct calls.
• Monitor donor during and after pheresis for reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
