Cal State East Bay is seeking a Scholarship & Donor Stewardship Analyst to administer and steward the University’s donor-funded scholarship program. The Analyst ensures scholarships are awarded accurately, funds are fully utilized, and donor intent is honored in alignment with policy.

The role collaborates with Financial Aid, University Advancement Services, and campus partners to support transparent reporting, donor engagement, and detailed stewardship of scholarships, including data integrity

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience administering scholarships, endowments, or donor-funded programs.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit organizations.
• Strong analytical and data reconciliation abilities.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with Financial Aid to ensure timely and accurate awarding of donor-funded scholarships per donor intent and policies.
• Analyze and reconcile underutilized donor-funded scholarship accounts; identify barriers and maximize distribution.
• Reconcile scholarship awards and fund balances quarterly with key partners across colleges and programs.
• Identify low-balance donor funds; evaluate consolidation or fund modifications; advise the Ed Foundation Board.
• Coordinate annual scholarship distributions across endowment and current-use funds using scholarship systems.
• Prepare, validate, and troubleshoot data loads for scholarship portals and related systems.
• Review authorization failure reports and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic scholarship utilization and balance reports for leadership.
• Serve as the Advancement scholarship liaison on the Scholarship committee and oversee high-profile awards.
