Job summary

Cal State East Bay is seeking a Scholarship Coordinator to oversee comprehensive scholarship programs and coordinate processes for timely and equitable awarding. The role advises students, interprets financial aid impacts, and supports retention and student success.

Under the supervision of the Financial Aid leadership, the coordinator will develop outreach, training, and educational resources for students, faculty, and staff, plus collaborate with campus partners to centralize scholarship

Qualifications

• Three years of professional student services work experience.
• A master’s degree in Counseling, Education, or related field may substitute for one year of experience.
• Experience coordinating scholarship programs, including awarding and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer institutional, departmental, and external scholarship programs to ensure timely and accurate awarding.
• Coordinate with University Advancement, academic departments, Financial Aid, and Student Financial Services to determine funding availability and awarding timelines.
• Lead campus Scholarship Committee activities and ensure adherence to policies and timelines.
