Job summary

Chabot Space & Science Center is seeking a Donor Relations Coordinator to join the Development team in Oakland, on-site. This role manages donor communications, reports, and events, working closely with the Director of Development.

The position requires strong storytelling, data management, and collaboration skills, with a focus on donor stewardship and engagement across campaigns and programs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Two or more years working in nonprofit Development or Membership.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable integrated CRM system.
• Proven ability to manage data and donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate essential donor communications, including email updates and reports.
• Design, develop, and distribute quarterly Donor Impact Reports and drafts content.
• Schedule member/donor communications with Development and Marketing teams.
• Conduct prospect research to identify new donors and upgrade opportunities.
• Support invitation and attendance management for fundraising events.
• Engage current and prospective donors to build the donor pipeline.
