Job summary

The Donor Relations Coordinator at Chabot Space & Science Center is a full-time, onsite role within the Development team. You will coordinate donor communications, produce impact reports, and help manage events and recognition programs to engage supporters and sustain giving.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS and 2+ years in nonprofit development, with strong writing, data management, and CRM skills (Salesforce, Constant Contact).

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required or equivalent
• 2+ years nonprofit Development or Membership experience
• Interest in science, astronomy, STEAM preferred
• Proven database and systems management
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience with CRM and email platforms (Salesforce, Constant Contact)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate donor communications, updates, acknowledgements, and renewals
• Develop quarterly Donor Impact Reports with timelines and content drafts
• Schedule and align donor communications across Development and Marketing teams
• Conduct prospect research to identify new donors and upgrades
• Support donor events: invitations, attendance tracking and logistics
• Manage donor programs and ensure timely benefits fulfillment
