Job summary

The Oasis Institute, based in St. Louis, MO, seeks a strategic Philanthropy Coordinator to support the development team and connect organizational strategy with day-to-day fundraising execution. You will oversee direct mail appeals, manage the Donor Perfect database, and ensure timely donor acknowledgments.

You will also provide guidance to the Oasis national network to help them meet their fundraising goals and maintain strong donor relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience: <2 years required; 2-5 years preferred.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support gift officers with their portfolios by managing correspondence and donor records of these caseloads.
• Assist with tracking, qualifying and reporting donor activity and outcomes.
• Manage cultivation and stewardship plans for each donor and help track next steps including visits and proposals.
• Schedule donor visit appointments via phone and email; maintain donor data with confidentiality.
• Create reports reflecting gift officer activity and departmental performance, manage calendars and assist with expense reports.
