Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) invites applications for the position of Donor Relations Operations Assistant (CS26-175). What You Will Do

The Donor Relations Operations Assistant serves as a key liaison between the SIUE Foundation (SIUEF), donors, and campus partners, playing an essential role in advancing the Universitys philanthropic mission.

  • Building and sustaining professional, positive relationships with donors and internal partners including supporting donor relations and stewardship activities in collaboration with SIUE Foundation and campus stakeholders

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
  • -Bachelor's degree
  • AND
  • -Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, non-profit administration, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive donor and internal relationships.
  • Knowledge of fundraising operations, gift processing, and donor stewardship best practices.
  • Experience with CRM databases and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with IRS and University policies.

Illinois Residency Requirement

Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position.

Illinois residency requires proof of a valid Illinois Drivers License or state of Illinois ID Card. Failure to produce the required documentation within 180 calendar days is grounds for immediate separation.
