Phoenix Seminary is seeking a Development Director to proactively identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts. The role manages 100+ donors, travels regionally and nationwide, and advances donor-funded scholarships to support the Seminary’s mission.

The position requires 5+ years of fundraising experience, strong relationship-building, and the ability to work with a diverse donor base while reporting to the Advancement Division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in gift solicitation in higher education or related sales.
• Strong integrity and alignment with the Seminary's faith and values.
• Ability to travel regionally and across the U.S.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; grammar and spelling.
• Proven relationship-building and donor segmentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Meet or exceed annual solicitation goals for Phoenix Seminary priorities.
• Move donors through moves management with key relationships.
• Establish tailored engagement plans for each constituent.
• Record all actions and donor info in the CRM consistently.
• Attend Advancement events and cultivate assigned constituents.
• Leverage department resources for gifts, events, and promotion.
• Collaborate with team within the Advancement Division; perform other duties.
