Job summary

The California Community Foundation in Los Angeles is seeking a Development and Donor Relations Specialist to support donor relations, data management and reporting within the Development and Donor Operations team.

Reporting to the Director, you will coordinate donor stewardship, manage custom engagement activities, and help deliver metrics, dashboards and procedures that enhance donor service and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in customer service or donor relations.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems (Raiser's Edge preferred).
• Knowledge of nonprofit practices in Los Angeles County.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive donor relations and customer service to donors.
• Lead donor stewardship and engagement, site visits, and impact reports; maintain annual touchpoint calendar.
• Oversee management and compliance for the $120 million supporting organization program.
• Administer life income program management including gift intake and acknowledgments.
• Audit and improve data management; develop dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate with Donor Relations, Grants Management and Accounting teams.
