Job summary

All Stars Project of New Jersey is seeking a Development Manager to lead frontline fundraising, donor engagement, grant writing, events, and development operations. You will manage a portfolio of 80–100 donors, cultivate relationships, and drive campaigns aimed at 1.75 million in annual giving, reporting to the Director of Development.

This hybrid role requires about three days in the Newark regional office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of three years of professional fundraising or donor-relations experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills for donor proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 80–100 individual donors and prospects.
• Develop engagement strategies to increase donor retention, giving levels, and long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate donor meetings, briefing materials, scheduling, follow-up, and next-step actions.
• Support the annual fundraising strategy to achieve $1.75 million in fundraising.
• Produce donor communications, including newsletters, stewardship messages, and appeals.
• Research prospective corporate and foundation supporters to identify funding opportunities.
• Maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge NXT and Airtable; prepare reports.
• Collaborate with ASP’s national Development team on cross-regional initiatives.
• Participate in development meetings and growth-focused activities.
