Job summary

OPB is expanding its Mid-Level team and hiring two Giving Advisors to steward and retain donors. You will learn from experienced fundraising professionals and gain knowledge about portfolio management, midlevel, major, and planned giving.

As a Giving Advisor, you will manage a donor portfolio giving $1,000–$9,999, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships to support OPB and KMHD, collaborating across the organization to advance OPB’s public service mission.

Qualifications

• Three years of fundraising or equivalent experience.
• Experience with direct outreach and donor solicitation strategies.
• Ability to adhere to ethics policies and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, collaborative and goal-driven, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with fundraising software and CRMs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a donor portfolio including Cornerstone Society and The Green Room to secure gifts.
• Execute mid-level giving strategies and campaigns with leadership.
• Research, assess and report on mid-level strategies and outcomes.
• Track donor plans and interactions in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with philanthropy and other teams to grow support.
• Identify opportunities for donor events and stewardship activities.
