Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets applicable competencies for leadership at various levels.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines to protect PHI.
• Receives and processes donations and pledges to the Foundation.
• Credits gifts to constituents and funds, and matches gifts to campaigns or funds.
• Establishes records for new donors, funds and appeals as needed.
• Produces and mails gift receipts within 2 business days and provides acknowledgment letters.
• Coordinates to ensure letters are up to date and signed on time.
• Sends acknowledgments for all honorarium gifts.
• Updates donor information in the donor database and mailing lists.
• Enters all gift information and maintains audit trails for gifts.
• Reconciles donor database with accounting database with CPA assistance.
• Daily batch entry of credit card transactions and contributions.
• Provides documentation and audit trails of gifts.
• Contacts donors and health system on gift/pledge matters.
• Logs gifts, creates deposits, and handles payment vehicles under supervision.
• Maintains compliance with policies and regulations and protects confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
