Job summary

IDEA is seeking a part-time Development Coordinator in Austin, TX, to build and maintain relationships with donors, masjid communities, and local partners. The role reports to the Regional Manager and supports fundraising activities, outreach, and regional campaigns while collaborating with staff and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, strong communication and project-management skills, and familiarity with Grassroots engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with grassroots organizations or community engagement.
• Familiarity with local Muslim community and leaders is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with donors, masajid, businesses, and community groups.
• Strengthen existing masajid relationships and cultivate new communities.
• Plan, organize, and support regional fundraising activities and events.
• Represent IDEA at community events and respond to inquiries about campaigns and programs.
