Qualifications

• Experienced in grassroots community engagement or related field.
• Familiar with local Muslim community leaders.
• Strong organizational, project- and time-management skills.
• Excellent oral communication and public speaking abilities.
• Able to build relationships across diverse groups.
• Proven fundraising experience is required.
• Willing to travel up to 60% within the geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with donors, masajid, businesses, and community institutions.
• Strengthen existing masajid relationships and build new ones.
• Conduct outreach visits and represent IDEA at events and programs.
• Plan, organize, and support regional fundraising activities with staff and volunteers.
• Respond to inquiries about campaigns, programs, and engagement opportunities.
• Deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
• Prepare plans, projections, and reports for the Regional Community Fund Development Manager.
• Research local communities to support fundraising strategies.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
