Job summary

The Development Coordinator for IDEA in Portland, OR works to build and maintain donor, masjid, business, and community relationships to advance fundraising goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• Experience with grassroots organizations and community engagement.
• Familiarity with local Muslim community and leaders.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent oral communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel at least 60% of the time.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace; Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends for events.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with donors, masajid, businesses, and community organizations.
• Plan, organize, and support regional fundraising activities and events.
• Represent IDEA at community events and program engagements.
• Respond to donor inquiries with accurate information about campaigns.
• Prepare plans, projections, and reports to the Regional Community Fund Development Manager.
• Travel within the designated geographic area as required.
