Job summary

Achievement Centers for Children, based in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an Development Coordinator who will engage donors, manage a portfolio, and lead key fundraising initiatives. You’ll work with leadership to strengthen donor retention and grow ACC’s leadership giving pipeline.

The role requires building engagement plans, coordinating with the Associate Board, and driving results for events like A Most Excellent Race while collaborating across departments to tell ACC’s impact story.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or related field.
• One to three years of relevant fundraising or donor relations experience.
• Familiarity with fundraising practices, donor stewardship, or moves management preferred.
• Experience with a donor database or CRM system preferred; Bloomerang experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects, including cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and progress toward fundraising goals.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Associate Board and support annual engagement and fundraising plan.
• Lead planning and implementation of A Most Excellent Race with leadership and volunteers.
• Develop engagement plans, analyze donor trends, and recommend improvements to retention and giving.
• Coordinate meetings, recruiting, and recognition with staff and volunteers.
