Philabundance in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Food Industry Coordinator to support the vetting, transport, and receipt of food industry donations. This role focuses on building relationships with donors and coordinating logistics to meet our food distribution goals.

The position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Light travel and background checks are expected, with a commitment to representing Philabundance professionally.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; extended degree in supply chain, business or social services strongly preferred.
Serve Safe Certification preferred; must certify within 30 days of hire.
2 years of experience in administration, logistics, or purchasing in a collaborative team environment.
Experience in grocery or food distribution is preferred.
Experience communicating with diverse audiences to influence action.

Responsibilities

Assist Manager to develop and foster ongoing relationships with Food Industry donors through phone/email communication.
Monitor Donate Food inbox to respond quickly to donation offers.
Create, update, and maintain all donor information as needed.
Create, update, and maintain all Donation Orders (DOs) as needed.
Work with Manager to monitor donated product and balance with warehouse inventory.
Collaborate across departments to ensure best practices in donation stewardship.
Represent Philabundance professionally with donors and external organizations.
Trouble-shoot donor issues with Warehousing, Transportation and Third-Party Logistics Partners.
