Job summary

The Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago is seeking a Donor Officer to manage a portfolio of donors, conduct in-person engagements, and advance fundraising across the JPN network. You will supervise administrative staff and collaborate with volunteer leadership to grow giving.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in fundraising, with strong written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office is expected, and the organization offers a hybrid schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of experience in a fundraising institution.
• Experience with face-to-face communication with donors or professionals.
• Excellent written communication, able to handle multiple projects and stay organized.
• Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform Donor Officer duties: research potential and current donors, build relationships, and conduct face-to-face meetings to increase giving.
• Oversee the Campaign operation elements of JPN and supervise the department’s Administrative Aide.
• Work with volunteer leadership and internal staff to implement JPN programs and events for fundraising and leadership development.
• Manage administration of the professional networks, including fundraising reports and timely record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other JUF departments to support annual campaigns, phonothons, and special events.
• Support JUF Campaign and mandatory activities on an ongoing basis.
