The Jewish Federation of St. Louis is seeking a Philanthropy and Donor Acquisition Officer to build relationships with donors and recruit new philanthropic partners.

You’ll manage a portfolio of about 100 current and prospective donors capable of four-figure annual gifts, supporting growth of the federation's annual campaign through engagement and stewardship. The role emphasizes cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans, donor communications, and collaboration with staff and volunteers

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in fundraising, sales or relationship management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and sound judgment with major donors and board members.
• Experience with donor databases such as Microsoft Dynamics, and with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Jewish culture and communal organizations preferred.

Aufgaben

• Build and carry out cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans for each donor
• Visit, call and solicit donors, and keep CRM records accurate and up to date
• Identify new prospects and move donors toward greater giving and involvement
• Write donor proposals, impact reports and stewardship materials
• Recruit, train and coach volunteer solicitors, and support campaign events
• Work with the AVP, Annual Campaign on pipeline strategy, and with finance on pledges, acknowledgments and billing
